23-Jul - WoW Raiding Blues

We just got done with what could have possibly been the most frustrating raid in history.

I wonder why it happens that way, you raid the same bosses week after week and then one day comes along and its like the whole raid goes braindead, you zig when you should zag and before you know what has happened, the raid has wiped like 5 times on stupid pulls, drawing aggro, allowing the tank to die, etc.

We have done this boss quite a few times, classified as officially on farm status, and you could hear a pin drop in Teamspeak after the 2nd wipe, by the 5th wipe, we were tossing out raiders like yesterdays news, we were looking for the heaviest hitters we had online. this bitch was going down, it was a matter of pride, this might be a tier 6 boss, but we were gonna take it to school.

Days like today make you wonder why you even raid in the first place -maybe we have no lives, maybe we enjoy pain, or maybe we just insist on that feeling of accomplishment when we do it right and although it took us numerous attempts we did do that.
